Dr. Ellen Choi is an educator with a Social Psychology Masters degree from the London School of Economics and a PhD., in Organizational Behaviour. She is an Associate Professor at Toronto Metropolitan University where she researches employee mental health and well-being with an interest in understanding how being present and kinder to oneself enriches work and life. Prior to academia, Ellen worked in commercial real estate. She is a delightfully authentic and relatable speaker that is known for her ability to combine her academic training with life's awkward moments in order to deliver meaningful messages with practical takeaways.

She has an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business and is a Certified Khan Method Coach.
